Spartan Angling adopted Pickerel Creek in Pengilly–a trout stream. We pick up trash and help the MN DNR manage trout stocking. These acts will help sustain the population for generations to come! On our first clean of the river, we took out a whole pickup load of trash! We were able to recycle the glass, plastic, and aluminum through the school’s recycle program.
5th Grade Water Summit
Spartan Angling presented at a 5th grade Itasca Waters Summit in Grand Rapids. We ran a fishing station and discussed lure types. Hundreds of local students attended!
